Permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £22,369 to £24,054 per annum (Grade E) | Norwich
This is an exciting opportunity within the finance department to support the development of software within Education Finance.

We are looking for someone with an understanding of computerised accounting systems and experience in software testing.

This role is ideally suited to an individual whose strengths include approaching projects with a methodical approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability to work under pressure as the job involves extensive testing of external and internally developed systems within tight timescales.

In this role, you will have three main duties:

  • To undertake testing of Software Upgrades identifying processing issues.
  • To write and maintain Software user guides and adapting existing guides where required under the guidance and instruction of the software development team.
  • To provide first tier nontechnical support to users of the Accounting Software systems (eg password resets)
As a team player, you will need excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills along with high quality IT skills. Experience of Finance Systems is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Your main duties will include testing software developments to identify potential issues and writing user guides for the software. In addition, you should have a commitment to excellent customer service. You will need to be organised, flexible, calm when working under pressure and able to work to tight deadlines.
