We are recruiting for a Response and Resettlement Officer to join our friendly and supportive team here at East Lindsey District Council based at Lincoln North Fire Station.

We offer support to vulnerable people who have signed up for the Wellbeing Lincs Response service. These individuals remain independent in their own homes, and our service supports them to do so. Our resettlement service provide service users to settle back into their homes after coming out of hospital or care.


Typical duties include:


  • Providing support after a fall (helping clients up, cleaning up, getting help if required etc)
  • Notifying care services that the person is home and confirming next visits
  • Checking the service user has food and or arrangements for a meal
  • Notifying any family and friends that they are home
  • Emergency personal care only dressing, toilet use, personal hygiene

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Have previous caring experience either in a job role or personally
  • Have good time keeping skills
  • Are caring, compassionate and reliable
  • Have good computer skills
Even though you will be a lone worker, there are always other colleagues on shift at other stations. We are a 24 hour service, working on a 52 week working pattern, worked out over 8 hour shifts. Average working hours are 34-36 hours a week. Hours can be discussed at interview. Days do include bank holidays but you get a day in lieu in return
