Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of.


Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.


The post holder will hold a registered core profession and have strong, demonstrable clinical experience of working therapeutically with children and young people with mental health presentations and their families.

The post holder will work cohesively alongside the Team Leader, Clinical Lead and Clinical Service Manager in providing robust clinical leadership, supporting the team with complex cases, hold a caseload within their sphere of professional and clinical competence, contribute to multi-agency meetings by providing expert clinical input and promoting the role of CAMHS.

The post holder will provide inspirational clinical leadership to the team, promoting positive outcomes for the young people of Dorset by ensuring that the service provides high quality interventions and offering.
