REED HR is delighted to support our client in the North Antrim area who wishes to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their team.
This role will provide a range of HR advice & guidance acting as an internal consultant bringing an enabling business supportapproach to the team
You will be responsible for the overall HR generalist remit, covering a broad range of HR responsibilities, including Employee Relations, Performance Management, Recruitment and Selection, Legislative Compliance, HR Analytics, Reporting and Returns, Equalityand Diversity.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HR advice on Employee Relations issues to employees up to senior management
- Manage endtoend recruitment & selection, drafting contracts, delivering induction & equality reporting to FEC
- Complete & return government, regulatory & statutory returns
- Responsible for HR inspections & compliance with audit schedules & lead corrective action
- Design, maintain, review & update people policies & procedures in line with legislation
- Monitor sickness absence levels & guide managers
- Manage & develop HR team
- Support managers in performance management & delivery of annual appraisals
- Design, deliver & procure HRrelated in house training for managers & employees
- Lead HR projects by researching & delivering solutions
- Lead administration of company benefits & annual renewal processes
- Support managers with induction of new employees
- Contract & provider management, SLAs & budget management
- Use data & analytics to measure the effectiveness of the HR function
- Build relationships with external organisations & share best practice
- Strong knowledge of Employment Law in NI & HR best practice, and research resources
- Good knowledge of TUPE Transfer
- Good judgement & close attention to detail
- Interpret data to make recommendations
- Excellent communication skills
- Work under pressure with sound decisionmaking ability
- Produce solutions to HR issues
- Coaching on performance to develop others
- Embrace & adapt to change & work in an agile environment
- Design & develop training sessions to upskill managers & develop colleagues
- Ability to influence as a credible, trustworthy & competent HR generalist
- Maintain confidentiality within the HR team and business
ESSENTIAL
- 3 years' experience in HR Generalist role with 2 years minimum recent experience in managing a team
- Experience in an environment that embraces diversity to develop a cohesive, high performing team
- Relevant HR experience gained in complex organisation with multiple stakeholders (including matrix relationships)
- Experienced in contract management, managing relationships & monitoring SLAs & procurement of services
- Experience of providing advice and support to Directors, managers & employees
- Challenging recruitment
