Description
Currently seeking Press & Weld Linisher for a manufacturer and distributor of metal products in the Lytham St.

Annes area to work individually and occasionally as part of a team to operate a range of machinery to produce a variety of metal materials with manual and automated equipment to a high standard meeting hourly production targets.


Working hours are Monday to Thursday 7AM - 4:30PM

Responsibilities of the Linisher

  • Will include maintaining high quality standards at all times
  • Communicate with supervisors, managers and quality control regarding production, quality and H&S issues.
  • General housekeeping around your work station
  • Quality checks
  • Following internal processes and paperwork
  • Following H&S standards and wearing appropriate PPE

Requirements of the Linisher

  • Understanding of engineering drawings
  • Previous experience of working in engineering sheet metal production
  • Understanding of basic IT
  • Proven skills of metal finishing processes
  • Understanding of belt linishers and pedestal polishers
  • Dressing welds in carious materials to the highest standards

Skills

  • Work independently and part of the team
  • Communications skills, written and verbal
  • Fault finding and problem solving Adhering to strict deadlines and demands
