Senior Committees Officer
Our client is seeking a true people person to support the implementation, planning and delivery of administration services and the management governance processes and procedures.
In addition, you will need to already have leadership or team management experiences or have a strong interest in developing managerial skills.

Our Client is an innovative and modern not for profit membership organisation located in the City of London.
What will you be doing?
You will be working within a fast-paced environment, coaching and directing a small but very experienced administrative team and delivery of committee work.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Secretarial and administrative support.
- Management of corporate governance procedures and processes to include strategic plans and rollout of programmes.
- Lead and implement operational efficiency of committee processes.
- Coordinate communication across the organisation of the work and specific activities associated with Committees.
- Keep abreast of relevant research and developments.
- Leadership and line management of the administrative team.
- Oversee communications between senior stakeholders.
- Committee management including reports, project management and general communication.
- Minute taking.
- Line Management of the team to develop positive practices.
- Remain up to date of developments relevant to the organisation.
- Contribute to information gathering for business website.
- Undertake any other duties and responsibilities as requested which are commensurate with this role.
You will:
- Have proven experience within a similar role corporate or company administration.
- Experience managing governance compliance processes, committee governance and committee support services in a complex organisation essential.
- Committee and minute taking experience is essential.
- Experiences with board and senior management teams.
- Good understanding of the risk register and data protection.
- Experiences within Charity or public sectors highly desired.
- Governance knowledge required.
- Team Management highly desired but not essential.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and 'cando' approach.
- Strong IT skills (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Be an exceptional and conceptual communicator both written and verbal.

Senior Committees Officer is a permanent position; paying up to £37,604pa (salary is dependent on experience) plus great benefits such as Learning and development, enhanced annual leave, flexible working (hybrid), enhanced annual leave and much more. This position is across a 35-hour working week and will involve working in office a minimum of 2 days per week.
