We are recruiting for an Intelligence Review Team Assessor to join my police client's team based in West Brompton, London.


Job Purpose
You will be tasked to conduct a thorough review of the intelligence archives. In order for the team to comply with legal obligations, the contents of team's archives must be reviewed.

This process will involve examining unique historical documents datingback to the 1930's in detail and making a decision to retain or dispose of the records.

This is a unique and limited opportunity to explore the historical world of counter terrorism policing.


Essential Criteria:


  • An understanding of the Government Security Classification Policy (GSC), Management of Police Information, Freedom of Information Act and the Data Protection Act
  • Understand the importance of information security and its role in the protection of intelligence from accidental or nonauthorised disclosure
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure
  • A good level of keyboard skills and computer literacy
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and the ability to summarise information
  • Be able to enter data quickly and accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good decision making and problem solving skills
  • Holds active DV national security vetting clearance

Desirable Skills:


  • Recent experience of working within a CT environment
  • Familiar with NCIA
  • An interest in worldwide affairs / Counter Terrorism
This is a temporary role, working on a full-time basis for
12 months with potential to be extended beyond. The role has an initial pay rate of
£18.72 per hour PAYE or
£23.87 per hour Umbrella.
