Accounts Assistant - £22,000 - £24,000 - Full Time - Office Based

Responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:

  • Weekly Payroll
  • Processing on sage


  • Reporting

  • Assisting with monthly management reporting, monthly VAT returns and accruals


  • Sales Ledger

  • Processing orders, invoices, and credit notes


  • Banking

  • Depositing cheques and cash to the bank


  • Bank Reconciliation

  • Record customer receipts/supplier payments
  • Reception and Customer service
  • Dealing with customers and visitors at main reception


  • Finance Administration

  • General administrative support for finance team.
  • Previous experience within a finance team
  • Flexibility to undertake ad hoc finance duties as and when needed
  • Previous Payroll experience
  • Good accountancy and finance software knowledge including Excel
