The Passage House Hotel is a privately owned hotel with 90 bedrooms, 29 apartments, F&B operation with Leisure Club.


As Reception Supervisor you will lead a team of Receptionists and Night Porters, ensuring the smooth running of the reception department.


As Reception Supervisor you will be leading by example at all times, you will deliver a calm, professional and welcoming atmosphere to all guests and owners, dealing with any issues which may arise, and delivering high levels of customer service.


Responsibilities of the role will include; Dealing with staffing issues, rota monitoring, aspects of health & safety, cleaning & maintenance, reporting procedures, communication & feedback, Monitoring bookings.


Located only 20 minutes from Exeter, the hotel offers a range of self-catering suites and lodges as well as full hotel facilities and leisure club.


Required Skills:


  • Previous Experience within a similar role, ideally within hospitality
  • Confident, friendly, approachable, positive & able to work well under pressure
  • Experience in managing and motivating a team of 4 or more
  • Ability to deliver exceptional guest service
  • Excellent communication skills, with good knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Competent in cash handling, accounts and banking reconciliations
