Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team of 37 consultant gastroenterologists and hepatologists. This post is to support the development of luminal gastroenterology services for Manchester.


Our department delivers comprehensive gastrointestinal services at Manchester Royal Infirmary, Wythenshawe Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital, along with outpatient services at Trafford and Withington Community Hospital.


You will be joining one of the largest gastroenterology and endoscopy services in England with, for example, the largest IBD biological service in the country.

We provide tertiary services to 3.5 million people.


The post-holder will assume a continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge and the proper functioning of his/her department.

The post-holder will have full secretarial support and a dedicated office space with IT facilities.


The post-holder must take reasonable care of his/her own health and safety and any other personnel who may be affected by his/her omission.

Trust policies and regulations must be followed at all times.
