We are recruiting for a Emergency Department Ward Sister who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS.

The overall job purpose of the Sister/Charge Nurse is to provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing and multidisciplinary team.

This includes acting as a clinical leader and expert practitioner liaising, guiding and advising the multidisciplinary team in the provision of optimum patient care.


The team leader will be responsible for the day to day running of a shift, including all aspect of patient care as well as the 4hr ED target.

They will be responsible for the management of a small team of staff or watch with regard to all professional and performance standards.
