We are looking to recruit a full time experienced Administrator to join our Mental Health Rehabilitation Team at Cherrywood in Milton Keynes.


The successful applicant will be the first point of call to the service and good communication skills are essential for this post.


You should be experienced using the Microsoft Office suite of programmes and it would be advantageous if you have used an electronic patient record system previously but training can be given.

The Administrator will be responsible for providing a full range of administrative duties to the team.

This will range from word processing, distribution of post, arranging meetings, petty cash management, interaction with patients, liaising and escorting estates, sourcing temporary staffing, updating health roster, auditing and disseminating information and the provision of a receptionist service in order to enable the team to carry out a range of clinical activity as quickly and effectively as is required.


The Administrator is responsible for supporting various staff including Consultant Psychiatrists, Team Managers, Community Psychiatric Nurses, Nurse Prescribers, Occupational Therapists, Peer Support Workers and Support Workers.

To prepare documents (letters, memos, reports etc) by copy or audio typing using Microsoft office software, ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
