Our client, a leading supply chain business, are recruiting for an experienced Health and Safety Officer to drive and coordinate the highest standard of health & safety in relation to the management, implementation, and maintenance of all procedures across all three of their UK sites.


Key Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Travel to and manage Health & Safety at all three UK sites
  • Keep up to date with all current and pending health & safety legislation
  • Make appropriate practice changes that are full compliant with the legislation and the Health & Safety Executive (HSE)
  • Lead in house training and coaching at all levels
  • Set high standards of awareness to embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • Fully investigate all accidents, incidents and near misses
  • Completion of all relevant paperwork, submitted to appropriate bodies within timescales

Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Health and Safety Officer position:

  • NEBOSH or IOSH qualified
  • Multisite experience
  • Experience managing Health & Safety in commercial and warehouse environments
  • The ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of business
