Job title:
SHE Lead Advisor

Location:
Govan; This is an onsite role and will involve an element of shift work and travel to other sites.

Salary:
£45,000+ depending on skills and experience

What you'll be doing:

Deploying and supporting the ongoing development of the Company SHE management and reporting tool SHEILD, including deploying the systems across all Naval Ships sites and shifts
Developing training materials and providing training on SHEILD
Developing and maintaining SHE processes, and procedures associated with SHEILD
Providing competent and comprehensive support and coaching to Line Leaders, enabling them to effectively deploy and operate SHEILD within their area(s) of responsibility
Conducting appropriate levels of assurance activities over the quality of data entered into SHEILD in support of the effective deployment of the SHE management systems ensuring it continues to meet the requirement of ISO45001 and ISO1400
Monitoring the effectiveness of the deployment of SHEILD through performance indicators reporting on level of compliance

Your skills and experiences:

Essential

Hold a relevant SHE qualification E.g., NEBOSH Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
Ability to work independently without needing direct supervision with proven selfmanagement, selfmotivation, and organisational skills.
Experience of working in a complex environment where influencing and coaching are the key methods for implementing, SHE improvements

Desirable

Knowledge of SHEILD or similar SHE management and reporting tools
Comprehensive knowledge of SHE Management Systems and assurance processes
Chartered Members of IOSH (or willing to gain)
