Finishing & Assembly Assistant / Trainee

Dale Studios are a fast paced and successful graphic design, print and installation studio. We have steadily grown over almost 40 years to become a well oiled team of designers, managers and technicians that supply some of the biggest names in retail - every day at Dale Studios is a fresh challenge to be tackled.


We are looking for a
Finishing & Assembly Assistant / Trainee to join our well established and efficient Production Department in order to expand our team and capacity - based within the finishing department.

You will learn all about the different production processes from some of the best in the business. Full training will be given on the machines and processes

Working under the finishing supervisor you will complete daily tasks such as:

  • Cutting, taping and gluing
  • Assembly using hand and power tools
  • Packing and collating graphics into sets ready for dispatch
  • Keeping the work areas tidy and clean
  • Maintaining and keeping the workshop in order
  • Advanced skills will be learned like technical print finishing, stitching and heatbending/fabrication once you have mastered the basics

It is essential that you have the following:

  • A 'can do' positive attitude
  • Excellent timekeeping
  • A good eye for detail
  • Able to maintain consistency throughout the day
  • Ability to work accurately using hand tools and power tools
  • Must be able to work standing for long periods of the day
  • Ability to lift sheets and rolls to table level
  • Must be able to take direction from supervisor

This is a full time role and the hours will be based on a 5 day/37.5 per week, 7.5 hours daily.

Salary range is £18-22k DOE

£17,577.61-£22,000.00 per year
