Lecturer in Nutritional Behaviour:


Do you have a proven ability to carry out teaching and research in nutritional science and the influence of food on behaviour, mental health and cognition?


As a Lecturer, you will carry out research and teaching and contribute to academic leadership in the field of nutrition and behaviour with an emphasis on understanding the interplay between food and mental well-being as well as the impact of food components on cognition.

You will develop collaborative research with members of the Nutritional Sciences and Epidemiology research group and other groups in the school, University and nationally and internationally to propose evidence-based solutions for improving health.


With a vision and drive to develop a prestigious internationally competitive research portfolio as well as a passion for undertaking research-led teaching you will make a significant impact to the performance, stature and profile of research and student education at the University of Leeds.

You will have a PhD in a relevant field, and a proven record of both research outputs and teaching in a university environment.
