Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business and user needs and technology constraints into design led solution
- concepts that are meaningful, engaging and easy to use

  • Lead and own personas, experience principles, TOV (along with senior copywriter),
  • Support the product proposition team on strategic recommendations, especially from a brand perspective in bringing our value proposition to life.
  • Use data, analytics, competitor reviews and insights to inform the strategic direction of our digital channels
  • Create user stories using personas, Jobs to be done framework, storyboards or similar.
  • Design journey maps, navigation design sitemaps, support UX designers in development of IA, wireframes, storyboards and prototypes, always tying back to the user experience and interaction design principles.
  • Bring complex data and insights to life through, maps, dashboards and miro boards.
  • Define reporting and measurement metrics focused on project and usability goals.

Key Skills and Experience

  • Ability to present design ideas with clarity and passion and receive feedback with open mindedness.
  • Expert communication skills and working with large stakeholders' teams
  • Expertise in all areas of design thinking (IA, UX, UI, content UX, end design)
  • A good understanding of the importance of brand and ideas (brand strategy experience a plus)
  • Good working knowledge of industry tools e.g. invision, sketch, zeppelin, Abstract, Adobe etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to bring design thinking to each stage

Professional Qualifications and Education:


  • 710 years of broader industry work experience + minimum 35 years of proven relevant experience e.g. design thinking/ user experience strategy/ product lifecycle/ service design runways/ JTBD
  • University degree or equivalent
