Accounts Receivable Clerk

Warwick and home working

£2- 28,000


Contract:

Hours: 37.5 hour full time working week


We are supporting our global client who are a market leader in their industry field, to recruit an experienced Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their growing shared service finance centre.

You will be carrying out a variety of tasks relating to billing,disputes, credit reviews and accounts receivable processing.

The focus of the role will be around customer cash, collections and maintaining a high volume ledger with high levels of efficiency and attention to detail.

The role is office based 3 days per weekand home working 2 days per week.


Role and responsibilities:

  • As an Accounts Receivable Clerk you will be responsible for accurately maintaining a high volume sales ledger
  • Receipt and allocation of cash
  • Account managing several customer accounts to proactively maintain credit control
  • Closely monitoring customer accounts for nonpayments, delayed payments and other irregularities
  • Liaising with customers to resolve outstanding issues and to ensure that cash is collected within payment terms
  • Handling escalation of debt issues in line for company processes
  • Build good working relationships with other departments and colleagues across the shared service centre
  • Support with resolution of customer disputes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Receive and process customer claims which result from payment deductions and produce daily associated reports.
  • Any other duties as required to support the Credit Control Manager

Skills and experience required:

  • Demonstrable experience in accounts receivable or credit control essential
  • Experience in processing high volumes of invoices and ledgers essential
  • Experience in Shared Services is desirable
  • Methodical and organised approach to work
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail skills
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to handle and process data confidentially in line with GDPR
