This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in the provision of efficient, high quality and comprehensive administrative service to the Gynaecology Directorate including the Assisted Conception Unit and Jessop Fertility.


We are looking for enthusiastic and organised individuals to facilitate the smooth running of the patient journey, ensuring that co-ordinated and streamlined administrative processes are implemented and followed.


  • To coordinate and assist the patient's pathway through the Gynaecology and Reproductive Service to meet and maintain the 18 week targets. Using data collection and validation to monitor and report on clinic activity and utilisation. Working closely with the Service Coordinators to forward plan capacity both urgent and routine, ensuring patients are being treated in clinical priority and waiting time order.
  • To liaise with patients, and work closely with the multidisciplinary team in Jessop Fertility Assisted Conception Unit, to ensure prompt payment, by selffunding patients, for embryo storage and other services and treatments within the fertility clinic, ensure accurate record keeping, raise invoices and liaise with the finance department. Ensuring accurate data recording of NHS patients.

One post is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 months due to the post being recruited as part of a limited term project within the Trust.

The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the requirement for the post to be maintained as a part of the project's implementation and the timescales associated with this.

Working in a strong multidisciplinary environment you will support the delivery of the Obstetric and Gynaecology service through delivering consistent, high quality processes and procedures that ensure the team provide the best possible service to the patients who access the Obstetrics and Gynaecology service.
