We are currently recruiting for a experienced Learner Engagement/Onboarding officer to join a well established and thriving private training provider in Birmingham.

This role offers Hybrid working from both the office and home.

This training provider offers high quality IT courses to adult learners across the West Midlands.

Their range of specially created IT Courses provides their learners with the skills and knowledge needed for a successful IT career.

A Learner Onboarding Officer role is integral to the recruitment and onboarding process.

You would be the first point of contact for the learners prior to engagement into cohorts and be responsible for the onboarding of learners for courses whilst providing an exceptional learner experience during the recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

Providing consultative advice to manage the needs and expectations of the learner.
Responsibility for the onboarding of learners
Ensure timely and accurate completion and submission of all related documentation.
To obtain a CIAG qualification within a six month period of employment if not qualified.
Develop an understanding and awareness of products and services and keeping up to date with changes and developments within ESFA funding rules and monitoring.
Constantly build a sustainable pipeline of learners

Desired Skills and Experience

Experience working in a similar role within a private training provider or college.
IAG Qualification would be an advantage
Experiacne working with Ofsted, would be an advantage but not essential
Good understanding of ESFA regulations and funding rules
Knowledge on eligibility criteria, experience ensuring this has been met has been met and the learner has been recruited to the most suitable course.
Good interpersonal skills, willingness to be part of a team and contribute to team goals. Committed to developing the skills and abilities of both staff and learners.
Willingness to give excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Flexible and willing to undertake further training and development.
