As a Hospital Porter, you will:

  • management of waste streams (clinical, domestic, recycling, special)
- security checks (early morning opening, evening lockdown, and ad hoc)
- controlling access to the basement car park
- managing of patient transfers between departments
- managing of both internal and external post (including recording of postal use by on-site third parties)
- maintain the external environment to a high standard (including the basement car park)


To support the Head Porter and Facilities Manager to ensure that the third party facilities providers are delivering to the agreed levels of service.
