Payroll Co-ordinator

The Job Purpose
This is an excellent opportunity to join a strong and forward-thinking Finance department as a Payroll co-ordinator/manager. You will be joining a dynamic team whilst having the independence to work alone in a fast-paced environment.

Key Areas of responsibility

Payroll**:

  • Daily administration within HRM System in relation to time management, starters and leavers and amendments.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of Weekly Payroll for 170 employees and Monthly Payroll for 85 employees using the HRM System with Sage 50 Payroll.
  • Prepare and issue P11ds, P60s and P45s as appropriate.
  • Liaise closely with colleagues in the finance department ensuring that monthly reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.
  • Responding to payroll queries.

Finance:

  • Carry out Purchase Ledger Duties as and when required
  • To undertake any duties to support the finance team as required by the Financial Controller

  • Accurate and eye for detail

Knowledge, Training and Experience required

  • Sage 50 Cloud payroll experience.
  • HRM or Time and attendance system management to get reports necessary for payroll.
  • Management and processing of all communication to HMRC, Pension Providers and other statutory and pension scheme bodies. Keep up to date with relevant regulations /legislation.
  • Keep up to date with relevant regulations / legislation. Ensuring that data is managed in line with GDPR regulations

Salary:
Up to £28,000.00 per year
