Job Description - Software Manager

What you will be doing


You will be the lead for all things technical in the EMS division, ensuring that the right technical solutions are delivered for the long-term success of our product offering.

This will include management of a technical team, chairing daily stand ups andtechnical sprints, allocating and managing customer issues for resolution and delivering new technical changes and releases.

It will require a balance between managing the team and hands on technical delivery yourself.


Role responsibilities

  • To ensure all technical customer issues and effectively resolved
  • Own and deliver technical strategy in line with roadmap
  • Ensure products are tested and meet specification to achieve optimal performance
  • Lead and implement problem solving to embed a culture of continuous improvement
  • To ensure product technical functionality is fully documented and understood
  • Provide direction to the Engineers on standards, systems, and processes
  • Nurture and develop the technical team to enhance their skillset
  • Advise and engage with internal stakeholders, such for best practices, approaches, decisions, and general compliance
  • Identify opportunities for product enhancements
