To be successful within the role of Trainee Welder, you will be a practical, committed team player, with good communication skills which are so important in the learning environment and within the workshop facility.

• Understanding of maths and the ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Good problem solving skills and great hand eye coordination with a steady hand.
• Physically able to carry out manual work.
• Ability to work shift patterns.
• Can get to work in Dorking without using public transport.

• A basic salary of £11.09 per hour (eq £23,067 per year)

• Salary increases upon completion of probation period (3 months) to£13.42 per hour.

Once you have completed the training period, the welding and fabrication production team work a two shift work pattern of rotating early and late shifts.

Due to the timings of these shifts, people need to be able to commute to the Manufacturing facility without relying on public transport.
