Adecco are proud to be working in partnership with a charity that supports Refugees and Asylum Seekers based in Oxfordshire to recruit a Head of Services on a permanent basis.


As the Head of Services, you will be responsible for leading the operational delivery of all support services for our vulnerable clients including counselling, mentoring, social inclusion, women's services, men's advice service and advocacy.


This is a key role to ensure all services are delivered to a high standard with the provision of client-centred, effective, safe, and responsive services in line with the organisations policies, safeguarding and best practice models.


The successful incumbent will have autonomy to identify new service delivery opportunities and bring on board new initiatives to support business growth in line with the sustainable agenda.


This is a truly exciting opportunity to have an impact on a great cause in delivering psychological, social, and practical support services whilst taking an active approach in strengthening the service offer.


  • Previous experience of leading and delivering counselling, support, and therapy services and understand the issues facing refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants.
  • A strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and delivering against strategies to enhance service provision and maximise efficiencies.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders and external organisations with the ability to influence and negotiate as required.
  • Hold one of the following qualifications, Registered Counsellor or Psychotherapist, Diploma in Social Work or equivalent, Diploma in Occupational Therapy or have equivalent experience as a practising counsellor.
  • Current registration with a relevant professional regulatory body.
