Macmillan Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Worker


We have an exciting opportunity for a Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Worker to work with the Secondary Breast Clinical Nurse Specialist and the and the Breast Oncology team.


You will become a valued member of the team and will be involved in supporting the delivery of personalised care to metastatic breast cancer patients.


You will be expected to be a team player but also work autonomously escalating when appropriate to one of the clinical team.


The role will work closely with the Secondary Breast Clinical, and the wider Breast MDT and Oncology teams to improve the information and support available for this specific cohort of patients.

On-Call


Please note that senior positions (AFC band 8A or above) may be expected to participate in an on-call rota, if the role is predominantly operational.


You will be expected to be a team player but also work autonomously escalating when appropriate to one of the clinical team.
