Fast growing business in the Redruth area looking to recruit a Baking Assistant to join the team

My client is looking for someone who is passionate about baking, who will help to create handmade products with ultimate care and attention.

You will be provided with the opportunity to use a range of skills and cover a variety of processes that need to be completed to make all breads and pastries.

If you are hardworking, committed, with a real sense of pride in your work then this could be the position for you.

Previous experience within a food production role is ideal, although the baking aspect will provide full on the job training.

Shift times:
Sunday - Thursday, 10:00am-18:00pm

Rate of pay:
£10.00 per hour.

Key Duties:

All aspects of bread making.
Measuring and combining ingredients, using mixers, pastry brakes, dough dividers, and heat sources.
Decorating finished products.
The use of production sheet information to ensure that orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Ensuring that standards and quality are maintained.
Adhering to safe practices within the Bakery.

Essential Skills & Experience:

Previous experience of pastry and bread baking but not essential.
Some knowledge and understanding of using bread making equipment.
An ability to work methodically, efficiently and with an extreme eye for detail.
You can work on your own initiative and manage your own workload effectively.
