**Area Support Leader

The Role:


As a Area Support Leader you will achieve operational KPI's as outlined in the labour model and 1-2-1 directives & report accordingly at designated times.

You will effectively manage Teams including their performance and supporting agency and the labour provided by these. You will also ensure the shift achieves high standards of H&S working.


In this role you'll:

  • Maintain stock systems ensuring that they are robust and managed effectively, maintaining accurate inventories.
  • Manage all warehouse process to ensure timely delivery of the materials to the production units in conjunction with the Goods in/out team lead.
  • Ensure area manning levels are achieved through optimum performance of team members.
  • Monitor against daily targets which are in line with 1 to 1 matrix/objectives.
  • Train/develop the team under his/her control, in order to obtain the required operational efficiency within departments, identifying and nurturing talent within the team ensuring objectives are fully understood and monitored.
  • Ensure performance reviews of team members within the shift pattern are carried out on a monthly basis, with any issues/training/development opportunities being communicated to the Logistics Manager.
  • Ensuring site standards are kept to the highest standard
  • To develop and seek, continual improvement of the Health & Safety culture of the site.

You'll succeed because you have the following skills and qualifications...

  • 3 years Warehouse team leader/shift manager experience.
  • Experience HCCAP/GMP
  • IOSH Health and Safety qualification or equivalent.
  • FLT License
  • Essential
  • IT literacy (Microsoft Excel and Word, etc)
