Stock Controller - Dagenham, United Kingdom - APP Wholesale
Description
Responsibilities including but not limited to:
- Forecast stock supply and demand to maximise availability to our merchant and retail customers.
- Order stock direct with suppliers and internally via Inter Branch Transfers (IBT's)
- Track order progress, chase delayed orders and communicate to wider team
- Ensure all goods booked in correctly and short/damaged stock notified promptly
- Improve stock accuracy through planned perpetual inventory (PI) and random checks
- Investigate significant stock variances
- Oversee stock returns and supplier credits
- Manage and update branch supplier file
- Develop strategy to reduce slow moving and redundant stock
- Participate in leadership, online teams and inperson meetings
- Work closely with branch and commercial team
- Prompt completion of compliance and training modules
- Demonstrate excellent attendance and timekeeping
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
£25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
