Role and Responsibilities

You'll provide scenario control and perform a 'white force' role for training sessions at the RAF Lossiemouth P-8A (Poseidon) strategic facility.

As a Controller you'll oversee the operation of the consoles and provide critical support directly to our RAF customer.

This is a perfect role for an ex-WSOp looking to maintain their connection with the RAF, ensuring the military personnel have the best capability to continue to operate at the highest standards.

Your role will include:
Facilitation of individual and whole crew training events, including:

OCU applied training
Front line continuation training
Delivering training on console operation to RAF personnel
'White force' role playing
Supporting team and collective training through the DOTC and other networks
Act as 'game controller' during Weapons Tactics Trainer (WTT) and Weapon Systems Trainer (WST) training events
Brief and debrief WTT/WST training events

What are we looking for?- Military background (ex-WSOp) with experience in maritime patrol operations- Direct experience with the assets or similar high fidelity training devices

Location:

Lossiemouth, Moray. This is a fully site-based role

Working pattern:
We operate a shift pattern, with three shifts split between 0700h - 2300h

Who would succeed in this role?

We're looking for you to have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to present in a classroom and practical setting.

You'll need to be a confident, strong communicator, comfortable interacting with military staff at all levels.

Security requirements:
You must be able to obtain or transfer SC clearance (likely to require 5 years of UK residency). You may also be able to transfer non-UK security clearance from overseas.
