The Role

  • We are recruiting for a Central Support Team Administrator to join us to support our Finance division.
  • This is a opportunity to work as part of the Central Support Team who are responsible for delivering core administrative activities for the Finance division. The team provides PA support to various members of the Senior Management Team within our division. This role is also responsible for managing the Supplier maintenance database and Fee's helpline inbox which involves contact with all areas of the FCA.
  • Providing diary support to 1 HoD, 3 managers and 2 associates
  • Administration support for all teams within Finance including but not limited to; SharePoint, Pulse, Workday, Records Management and Desk & Room Bookings
  • Operating and maintaining Supplier Maintenance database within Workday
  • Operate and maintain the Fees Helpline Mailbox

  • Operating the Fees Helpline inbox by responding to firm requests, ensuring the correct information is given out
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Monitor the content of requests coming through to identify any themes / trends
  • This role will give you the opportunity to play a pivotal role in the Finance division and give you the chance to be part of a busy team that performs a variety of activities.
  • Skills/Experience Required
  • Minimum
  • Good IT skills with working knowledge of standard Microsoft Office products including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook Visio
  • Experience of delivering customer service
  • Experience providing PA support

  • The ability to complete a heavy workload to a high standard and within tight timeframes
  • Evidence of teamwork and collaboration the ability to work actively with others to achieve outcomes in both formal and informal teams. Can demonstrate how they work individually in support of team and organisational goals
  • Proven organisation ability can show capability to manage a variety of competing tasks and issues, prioritising appropriately and escalating where necessary
  • Evidence of excellent communication skills (oral/written) can demonstrate ability to explain complex issues succinctly and with clarity
  • Build and maintain internal & external stakeholder relationships evidence of ability to build effective relationships with external and internal stakeholders
  • Can demonstrate decisionmaking confidence in ability to use sound judgement to reach conclusions on own initiative
  • Curiosity display an interest in things that are new, ability to spot patterns and themes

  • The FCA has a national role and is committed to a national footprint. This role can be based in London, Leeds and Edinburgh. The FCA has London and National Pay ranges to reflect regional differences. The base salary range for this role is up to £32,000 per annum in London and up to £28,000 per annum in Leeds and Edinburgh, plus an additional flexible allowance.
