About the role:


The Training Services, Training Design and Development Team are looking to hire an experienced
Web Based Application Administrator to join Boeing in providing specialist courseware services, utilising our Learning and Content Management System (LCMS), in support of our Defence portfolio of Boeing platforms and services.

The role can be performed from either
Bristol or
Yeovil, with hybrid working options available.


Position responsibilities:


  • Creating, managing and administering project areas within the LCMS including enrolling users, adding content to courses and exporting course reports.
  • Managing the content library, importing/exporting content, creating and managing sample templates, sharing and managing material between domains and bulk upload of assets into the LCMS.
  • Contributing to the analysis and evaluation of customer technical training needs to determine appropriate system methodologies and establishing the LCMS aspects of training design and development projects.
  • Gathering data to support with proposals and assisting with the preparation and presentation of reports regarding the development, implementation and evaluation of training projects and curricula.
  • Discovering new opportunities and solutions for problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking to determine new editorial strategies, methods, technologies and tools related to instructional systems design, development and delivery for internal and external customers.


As a member of the Training Design team you will perform a key role in providing mission critical training solutions that are of vital importance to our Company and to the Defence and Security of our customers.

Preferred qualifications:


  • Basic coding skills including:
  • HTML
  • JavaScript
  • CSS
  • MS Office templates.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management skills to be able to complete tasks accurately and on time.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including remotely.
