Salary:
Up to £45,000 per annum

Responsibilities:

Plan and execute commissioning activities for water treatment plants
Ensure that commissioning activities are carried out in accordance with the project schedule and budget
Develop and maintain commissioning plans and procedures
Conduct precommissioning checks and testing to ensure that all systems are functioning as required
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the commissioning process
Work closely with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure that commissioning activities are carried out effectively and efficiently
Provide technical support to operations and maintenance teams to ensure smooth plant operations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of 5 years' experience in commissioning water treatment plants
Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including filtration, disinfection and chemical treatment
Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams, and electrical schematics
Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols, including safe isolation and lockout/tagout procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
