The Light is recruiting an
experienced Kitchen Supervisor to manage a small yet skilled kitchen team with pride and passion, ensuring all aspects of kitchen operations including ordering, stock control, waste management, labour control, recruitment and training of the kitchen team and compliance are executed properly at all times.


  • Have proven experience leading a kitchen team
  • Have a passion for cooking and working with fresh ingredients
  • Be able to work in a fastpaced environment whilst maintaining a high standard of food quality and presentation
  • Have a high energy level and proactive approach to work
  • Have a good understanding of the importance of Food Safety, Health and Safety and sanitation standards
  • Be able to demonstrate speed and efficiency in the kitchen
  • Be computer literate
  • Have good numerical skills
