Full-Time Teaching Assistants

Contract: 1-year, likely temporary to permanent contract
Are you passionate about education and eager to make a difference in the lives of secondary school students? Our Agency is currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Full-Time Teaching Assistants.
This is an excellent opportunity to work within a renowned secondary school in Lancaster, providing invaluable support to both teachers and students.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the educational needs of students.
- Support students in both individual and group settings, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate strategies to support learning.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional wellbeing of students.
- Assist in the preparation and organization of classroom materials and resources.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and adherence to school policies.
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to team meetings and professional development sessions.
Requirements:
- A genuine passion for education and a desire to make a positive impact on students' lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Adaptability and flexibility to meet the changing needs of students and the school.
- Experience working with secondary school students is preferred but not required.
- A relevant qualification in education or a related field is desirable.
Contract Details:
This is a full-time position, starting from September, with a one-year contract.
There is a strong possibility that the position will become permanent based on performance and the needs of the school.
