Are you a creative individual? Do you have great people skills?

Do you have experience of writing web and social media content that truly engages people?

If so, we'd really love to hear from you

About the role

If you have experience in the world of digital internal communications or online content production, this role is great opportunity to broaden your skills and get involved in some really varied campaigns and projects.

You'll be a vital member of Anchor friendly and supportive Digital Team and work closely with the Head of Digital and Web Content Manager.

Your main responsibilities will involve managing Anchor's Intranet and internal social media network.

Anchor has over 10,000 colleagues, so that means you'll need to create engaging and informative content for a wide variety of audiences.

It also means you'll need to be great with people because this role involves working closely with stakeholders from every corner of our business.

Fortunately, Anchor people are really nice, but it does mean that things can get very busy - so great organisation and time management skills are a must.

The systems we use are simple and intuitive, so you don't need loads of technical knowledge.

But having experience of writing for the web and creating social media content that engages people will be really helpful.

If you have experience of creating videos for the web then that's great, but not essential. We offer one-on-one in-house training and will help you gain the skills you need.

Other key responsibilities include promoting and managing our monthly colleague awards as well as gathering data and preparing reports that show how our platforms and campaigns are performing.

This is a 12-month contract covering a member of our team who's going on maternity leave.

Our ambition is to hire someone quickly so that you have at least four weeks working alongside them to learn everything you need before they go on leave.

About you

The must haves:

  • Experience in digital internal communications or online content production
  • Experience of writing for the web and what makes people engage with social media content
  • Great people skills with the ability to collaborate with them and influence their decision making
  • Confidence to champion your ideas and help shape campaigns and projects
  • The ability to manage your time and keep organised when things get busy
  • Ability to manipulate, interpret and present data reports

Nice to haves:

  • Experience of creating online videos
  • Experience of using Google Analytics or similar
