We are currently partnering with a global manufacturing organisation in Sheffield who are looking for a HR Advisor to join the team.

This is a full-time, permanent position which offers a salary of up to £35,000.


You will be standalone on site, managing a site of circa 100 employees, working closely with the General Manager day to day.


You will be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle at the Sheffield site, building relationships with employees and management teams, and ensuring a professional and proactive HR service is provided.


Responsibilities:


  • Be the face of HR at the Sheffield site
  • Manage the HR database ensuring it is up to date with starters, leavers, changes in details, etc
  • Respond to HR queries in a timely manner
  • Review, develop and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Complete all onboarding and induction activities
  • Support with payroll when required
  • Manage the L&D advising managers on training providers, getting feedback on training, etc
  • Assist the HR Manager with projects and initiatives
  • Build strong relationships with managers at all levels and employees in the organisation
  • Other duties when required

Requirements:


  • Experience in a similar generalist HR role


  • CIPD qualified

  • Level
  • Strong relationship building skills and stakeholder management
  • Good employment law knowledge
