The role

As a Purchasing Co-ordinator within the Purchasing team, the key purpose of your role will be to manage and maintain sound relationships with your dedicated set of suppliers.

You will be accountable for successfully placing orders for a vast range of our Office Supplies Customers, track all customer orders and provide regular updates to our internal teams.

You will also monitor supplier performance and assist the Sourcing team with obtaining new products for customers.

Your responsibilities as a Purchasing Co-ordinator will be:

  • To successfully place stationery orders through our sustainable suppliers
  • Manage and maintain the delivery of goods and regularly update our internal system
  • Manage job queues and ensure all orders are transmitting correctly
  • Efficiently process any stationery returns and liaise with the relevant people to arrange collection dates
  • Ensure our product catalogues are visible on the system and all pricing is accurate
  • Investigate any invoice queries and ensure effective query resolution
  • Attend regular account reviews with suppliers
  • Assist our Sourcing Specialists with acquiring new products and ensure all goods are available on our systems
  • Assist with the collation of purchasing reports

About you

  • You will have previous experience within a Customer Service/Administration role
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • You will have a positive, personal and professional attitude towards your work
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • A passion for customer service with the ability to build long lasting relationships with internal and external customers
  • You will be IT literate with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office & Outlook.
  • An open and approachable manner
  • Enjoy working within an environment where you have the ability to work both as part of team and individually

Salary:
£21,255.00-£23,000.00 per year
