Dean Close St John's School is seeking to appoint two enthusiastic Gap Students, to support our small but busy prep school.

Induction training will be held in late August, and the post will run for one academic year from September 2023 until July 2024.

A great opportunity if you are exploring teaching.

This is an exciting and varied role, no two days are the same, and the roles provide many developmental opportunities including:

supporting House parents in the day to day assistance of house routine and supervision, including weekends on a rota basis

- supporting a scheduled timetable, with a variety of tasks including classroom support, assisting pre-prep gain confidence in the water in swimming lesson, assisting coaching staff with PE and Games session, getting involved in clubs and administrative tasks.

Person Specification _
Sport coaching is an advantage
Flexibility and adaptability is essential
The ability to work well on your own initiative and as part of a team
Experience of working with and /or caring for children an advantage
A kind and caring nature
Be Loyal, honest, trustworthy and reliable

Approximately 45 hours per week during term time, including weekends.

Accommodation and food during term time are provided without charge. The post requires a full commitment during term time.

Accommodation (not food) may be available during part of the School holidays (up to 6 weeks) dependent on availability.
