Assistant Principal - Deputy Head Teacher - We are looking for a Assistant Principal or Deputy Head Teacher for a large Ofsted Good School in Birmingham.

Ideally this would be a permanent post but, will consider an Interim appointment for the right personwhich would be paid to the scale of the Assistant Principal role.

As a Assistant Principal you will be working as part of the SLT for this high performing team which is part of a Multi Academy Trust with a key accountability for Teaching & Learning
What are we looking for in Assistant Principal?

  • Proven track record of leadership to include Assistant Principal or Deputy Head or aspiring to this type of role
  • Used to working in a large Secondary Mainstream School with high standards 111
  • Happy to work at a strategic level to continue the development of teachng and learning across whole of school to include academic outcomes
  • As Assistant Principal who is used to working in a progressive school, working extensively with performance data and working with key faculty members to improve the quality and outcomes of lessons across the curriculum
  • Able to lead from the front and continue to achieve the high standards the School already enjoys as part of this MAT
  • Used to working with children and young adults of all abilities. Supporting the team to use data to create appropriate learning plans, embedding policy and culture in regard to Teaching and learning
  • An Assistant Principal who supports staff and pupil progress in line with core academic progress objectives
  • Actively ensuring that the school budgets are adhered to support teaching and learning staff across whole of School
  • Working with ECT's through Heads of Department
  • Able to create strategic plans alongside the Head Teacher
  • Driving professional development and personal development plans
  • Commitment to achieving outstanding results across whole of school
  • Show capacity to step up and be the key point of liaison for staff at School level
