Biopesticides are inherently less toxic than conventional pesticides, generally affecting only the target pest and closely related organisms. They can also be effective in much lower quantities and, as they are derived from natural materials (such as animals, plants, bacteria, and certain minerals), typically decompose quickly.
Working with some of the world's largest crop protection companies, our client combines their biopesticide regulatory experience with contract laboratory research to support the development of biopesticides and other low-risk crop protection technologies.
In this role, you will primarily use HPLC to analyse biological samples for secondary metabolites in aqueous solutions of pesticides, veterinary medicines and other chemicals to confirm applied dose in ecotox studies.
Applications are invited from both recent Chemistry (or related) graduates or more experienced HPLC Analysts looking to join a close-knit team with unrivalled expertise in the biopesticide sector.
Based near Harrogate, you will be joining a friendly andrelaxed group, with a strong focus on producing top data and working to very high quality.
Please note:
Due to the rural location, it is essential to be able to drive to access the site.
