Description
**Permanent

  • 35 Hours**We have big goals over the next few years.
We're going to be fighting for mental health in a way we never have before.

Together we'll be working to make sure everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets the support and respect they deserve.

This is your chance to support local Minds to help realise that promise and to recognise the excellence in the Mind network.

Will you join us?
These new roles come at a crucial time.

As the mental health crisis continues to grow across England, fundamental changes to how mental health services are delivered are being implemented with the emergence of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) across England coupled with greater devolved decision-making in many areas.

You will provide expert advice and support to Local Minds, enabling them to effectively influence and improve local mental health systems.

You will also ensure that insight from local mental health systems is fed into national policy, advocacy, and campaign work and that Mind continues to be seen at the forefront of shaping mental health services.

You will be a combination of expert consultant, advocate, and agitator.

Working within a small but dedicated team you will become an integral component in supporting our local minds to operate as effective system leaders.

We seek experienced individuals who understand the complexities and idiosyncratic nature of the Mental Health System and are able to interpret it in a frank and engaging style.

We seek impassioned guides who can lead our local minds through the labyrinth of health speak and governance structures and enable them to reach the nirvana of effective points of influence.

We seek dynamic change-makers who can see the wood from the trees and articulate the importance of integrated partnership work.

Most of all we want those who can meticulously enthuse about strategic approaches and advocate and coach in an enticing and accessible manner.

If you understand the minutia of the current mental health system at a regional and Integrated Care System level and believe you have the temperament and tenacity to support others to not only engage with it but to facilitate change within it, then we would like to hear from you.

Closing date:
Thursday 16th February (midday)**
The post is available for home working with travel across the country as required.

This position is in line with current guidance, the post holders will be expected to be in the office a minimum of two days (or more, depending on the arrangements of your team) but this role will retain some flexibility working from home (hybrid working).

Equality & Diversity
We value the power of diversity. We embrace the different perspectives that each of us bring.

We are creating an inclusive working environment where everyone is appreciated for being authentic and bringing their whole selves to work regardless of race, gender, age, religion, identity and experience.

We are committed to becoming truly anti-racist in everything we do and ensuring that all our employees are treated fairly and equitably at work and promoting equity in physical and mental health for all.
