£50,000 DOE

The Role:
We are looking for a Database Administrator with Database Development experience.

Currently all Database's are on premise but in the future, we are looking to move to Azure, therefore we need someone to come onboard and help with this task along with database development.

Main

Responsibilities:

Excellent knowledge as a DBA in administration, design and implementation of backups, performance

tuning, management, and provisioning of databases.

Excellent knowledge with Azure
Perform development DBA activity, performance tuning and SQL Server management.
Be able to write performant SQL queries for reports and data extracts
Ensuring that storage and archiving procedures are functioning correctly
Capacity planning

and security

5+ years within the IT industry
Knowledge of SQL Server 2016+
Azure integration
MYSQL Administration
Database design and development
SSRS report writing
Critical thinker and problemsolving skills
Team player
Good timemanagement skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
BS or MS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
5+ years related experience
