The Royal Society to find a
Digital Project Manager for the Royal Society's website transformation project. The Digital Project Manager will co-ordinate the management of all aspects of the website transformation project, covering content work and development. They willwork closely with key stakeholders in the project. They will need to be able to 'step-back' and see the project as a whole and understand the interrelationships between the work themes.

Contract: 7 months Fixed-term contract

£54,369 pro rata
Hybrid: 2 days in the London Office (3 days working from home)

Planning
- Develop toplevel project plan, with key time lines and an overall highlevel delivery schedule
- Organise the required number of epics to cover the required key deliverables/website sections/components
- Organise the production of user stories and requirements for each epic
- Organise testing plans and sign off criteria for each user story/task/epic
- Plan sprint calendar (will need however to fit with the IT sprint pattern), activity and noactivity periods
- Ensure backend development considers how users will interact with the CMS to build an easytouse and logical setup of the website
- Assist in effort and resource need estimation
- Work with the Senior Web Developer and Digital Content Editor to gauge resource needs and track any potential shortfalls
- Establish and manage the risk register and project change log
- Establish and manage the issues/blocker register, and alert senior project team as required
- Produce end of sprint progress reports
- Run and minute weekly standup
- Run and minute pre and post sprint meetings and status review meetings
- Run and minute any 'workshops' that are required from time to time during the project
- Run and manage pretesting phase meetings to ensure testers are aware of their responsibilities
- Run and manage testing and feedback meetings at the end of each testing phase
- Work with Kamran and Ruth more directly to ensure any early warning signs of issues and problems in a sprint are picked up
Required skills/experience
- Previous experience of the management of Digital Projects, especially website projects
- Strong communication skills
- Attention to detail and evidence of the development of project plans, sprint plans and testing plans
- Problem solving experience, especially around resource conflicts
- Experience in managing complex crosscutting projects to time, budget and specification
- Use of AzureDevOps
