Description

Robert Half Financial Services are working with a Private Equity firm based in London, helping secure a Private Equity Fund Controller for a 9-12 month contract.

Pay between £400 and £500 depending on experience.


Role


As Private Equity Fund Controller, you shall report directly into the COO of the firm, covering all aspects of fund accounting for their 2 flagship funds.

You will work with the outsourced administrators, covering valuations, analysis, reviewing bookkeepingand investor reporting.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing cashflow within the fund on a daily basis, this includes working closely with the deals team to ensure liquidity available in respective currency.
  • Managing drawdown notices and distribution notices for the fund
  • Quarterly carry provision calculations
  • Participate in Investors and Investment's closing, structure liquidations and/or portfolio sales
  • Work with the Jersey based fund administrators to produce the quarterly financial statements, NAVs and Capital Accounts
  • Calculate management fees and performance fees
  • Review administrator models and produce internal models for GP specific fees such as management fee and carried interest.
  • Support with the audit process and queries of the funds

Profile

  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Microsoft Office package strong experience in Excel, Power BI etc.
  • Good knowledge of fund drawdowns, management fees and Private Equity in general.
  • Strong communicator
  • Able to work in a team and independently

This UK based business operates across Europe, and covers a variety of investment strategies including Equities, Private Equity and Debt.

They have roughly £5bil AUM and have grown this by staying true to their core investment ethos of making intelligentrisk-weighted investment choices.


Salary & Benefits
£400 to £450 depending on experience.
