Reed Accountancy in Oxford are currently partnering with a prestigious organisation based in Oxford, who are seeking someone to join their FP&A team on a permanent basis.

The role offers a salary of up to £42,000 per annum, 25 days annual leave (plus bankholidays and Christmas closure), study support package, flexible & hybrid working (2 days a week in office), excellent pension, progression, and a supportive team environment.

This role is an ideal opportunity for a Finance Analyst, Management Accountant or similar who is seeking a progressive new opportunity

The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform FP&A activities including (but not limited to) reporting, budgeting, forecasting, decision support to provide consistent, accurate and timely output and add additional commentary and insights based on specific business drivers.
  • Run and develop reports, models and approaches using analysis and problems solving skills to support projects based on defined requirements.
  • Analyse financial information to ensure that information is accurate, that provisions are financially sound and correctly allocated, investigate anomalies and provide explanations on variances that have occurred against budget. Where errors are found provideinformation and analysis and to Finance Operations to correct the postings.
  • Identify data quality issues and work with the data team and help to resolve the issues, providing analysis and insight.
  • Propose and implements improvements to finance activities, processes and procedures and work with the FP&A team to continually improve processes.
  • Acts as support for colleagues with less experience, providing informal guidance
