Helpdesk Technician / IT Support Engineer - Camberley/Hybrid - £30k

Are you a strong 1st Line Support Engineer looking to take a step further to 2nd Line Support and Infrastructure?


My client, a well-established MSP in Camberley, anticipating an exciting period of growth in 2023, have a fantastic opportunity for strong 1st Line Engineers to join the team in a Helpdesk Technician role.

From here you would be able to further strengthenyour skills on a 1st/2nd Line Support level. As well as training in the future around more Infrastructure focused work, if you wanted.


You will be working as part of a dynamic team, handling technical support queries via telephone and remote based tools.

Working within SLA's you will have strong communication skills and and will be expected to use the Helpdesk Management System.


  • Experience with Windows Servers and Office36
  • Experience of Active Directory administration
  • Experience supporting Windows Desktops, Laptops, Hardware and Software
  • Good understanding of Networking / TCP/IP
  • A Full UK Driving Licence

Desirable:

  • Experience with Microsoft Sharepoint
  • Understanding of Microsoft Servers
  • Familiarity with Antivirus, Backup Software

Details and extras:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Shift pattern between 8am start time and 6.30pm finish time
  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, rising by 1 day for every year of service for 5 years
  • 1 hour lunch break
  • Hybrid working environment (1 Day per week in office)
  • Salary from £25 to £30k depending on experience
