Description
To lead the mangement and delivery of Project Management services for the Portersfield
regeneration project including managing an multi-disciplinary project team internally, and
external consultants to deliver the project on time, within budget, creating all Project
Management documents as required and up to date including project plans, milestones,
interdependencies, project risks and post project evaluation.

  • To work with internal and external partners, internal stakeholders and project Workstream
Leads and elected members on the co-ordination and delivery of the project

  • To monitor and manage the relationship with external funding organisations, including
Specific Accountabilities

  • To act as the Project Manager proactively taking responsibility for the delivery of the
Portersfield project leading, project plans, milestones, interdependencies, project
risks and post project evaluation.

  • To lead the management and coordination of the development and delivery of Portersfield
from initial Development Brief through to the appointment of the preferred developer and
delivery model.

  • To lead and be responsible for the all project monitoring and reporting internally and
externally, including preparing all project documentation for the Steering Group, the Working
Group, and any others as required.

  • To lead and be responsible for the monitoring and reporting of all project finances, and
preparing updates for the Steering Group

  • To lead and be responsible for all preparing all project documents for the Steering Group
including the Workstream Updates, Highlight Report, Project Plan, Risks, Issues, etc in line
with project reporting requirements

  • To proactively lead and manage the project with effective project financial management,
monitoring and reporting of the capital spend, ensuring stages are delivered on time, to
budget, demonstrate value for money and acheive agreed performance standards.

  • Manage the project team performance to ensure that the project and budget are being
delivered efficiently

  • Developing and preparing a business case, briefing papers, options and appraisals to
acheive desired outputs and outcomes as required

  • Work with partners to identify, and manage project and service risks.

  • Conducting such other work as may be assigned to them by the Director of Regeneration &
Enterprise as required
