Hours of Work: 40 hours full time
Salary:
£24,000 per annum
What we need in a nutshell:
We are looking for a generalist HR advisor that will sit as part of the Regional People Operations team in the South This generalist HR role will assist with a wide remit of responsibilities including administrative tasks, delivery of training, ER case management and reward and recognition.
You will be the first point of call for all queries, providing direct support to our park operations teams in our Southern regions.
Who are we?What you'll be doing:
You'll be a key point of contact for HR, ensuring our People Strategy is implemented and the Away Resorts culture thrives
This includes:
- Dealing with the daytoday HR administrative tasks and enquiries and working closely with the People Operations Manager on employee relations issues
- Leading the new starter process at Central Support through coordinating paperwork, welcome packs and inductions
- Coordinating and delivering core training programmes
- Providing support to all departments to operate within the spirit of our values
- Developing our channels for employee communication and engagement, including via our Workplace forum, video, noticeboards, newsletters, etc.
- One more thing holidays happen at holiday times, so you'll need to work your magic on bank holidays and weekends too when needed.
Skills, experience, and qualities you'll need:
We are looking for someone ready to build a career in HR, who can demonstrate the following:
- Good level of general education
- Good organisational skills and comfortable with IT systems
- Ability to organise your own time and workload.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- High levels of empathy and emotional intelligence
- Resilience
It's the icing on the cake, but not essential, if you have entry level CIPD qualification and work experience as an HR Admin Assistant or Coordinator.
