A vacancy has become available within the Information Management & Assurance Department as a Workflow Coordinator.
The post holder will be based at Wiltshire Police Headquarters, Devizes (although we are currently working from home) and will be the central point of contact for providing general advice relating to the disclosure process to members of the public, the Force and outside organisations.
This is an interesting role dealing with the many aspects of disclosure made by the Force.By answering telephone calls, assessing correspondence and allocating tasks to the team, you will learn about the day-to-day workings of the Management of Police Information, Data Protection and Freedom of Information in a policing environment.
The successful applicant will need to be motivated with the ability to work unsupervised, be able to use their own initiative and work to tight deadlines.
Applicants must have good communication skills both written and verbal, be a confident IT user, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
They should also have good organisational skills and be able to demonstrate the ability to make decisions when required to do so.
